OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Everyone loves to receive gifts. During the Christmas season, we celebrate the arrival of the most special gift of all – God’s Son, Jesus Christ. We want to share this message with children around the world through participating in Operation Christmas Child. We will be putting together shoe boxes filled with small toys, school supplies, etc (see list below) that the children will bring on November 12. We would like to have the children try and pay for these items out of their own allowances, from money that they earn from doing chores, etc. This way the gift is from them. We want to teach our children that Christmas is as much about giving as it is receiving. Participating in this project is optional.
